Fish by zone

The Trello groups fish into three pools. The ocean pool also contains junk catches (worm, shoe, rock) and the odd Fruit Chest.

Which fishing upgrades to buy first

The Radex Tips video recommends this order for the skill tree: Steady Bar (bigger reel bar), then Composure (slower reel drain), then Sure Grip (faster reeling), then Lucky Cast (+10 luck per rank). Keen Eye and Quick Bait can wait.

Fishing rebirth upgrades

At fishing level 100 you can rebirth for a point. Useful buys on the Trello include Seasoned Angler (+20% fishing experience per rank), Surf Caster (cast onto any surface), Storm Angler (+5% mutation chance in rain) and Chum Line, which sacrifices a fish for a large luck boost on every bite.

Races that help

Seafolk and Half-Fish Humans get Fisherman’s Instinct: a 15% chance to reel in a second fish and +25% fishing experience. See races.
